| Bio: | I'm Courtney. I'm married. I am a Washington native. I'd never live anywhere else despite the rain. I'm Lutheran (ELCA) and just graduated from college, so now I'm a full-fledged elementary teacher! At the moment, I work with corporate sponsorship in the underwriting department at my local NPR station.
My favorite movies (I can't pick just one!) are Moulin Rouge!, Casablanca, Swing Kids, La Vita e Bella, and Forrest Gump. My favorite books are Youth in Revolt by C.D. Payne, and The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis. I love swing music, both to dance to and to listen to. My favorite band is Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. My hobbies are pottery, dancing, and writing. I am proud to be a Grammar Vigilante. I carry a red Sharpie with me so I can correct errors I encounter.

He's my best friend, high school sweetheart, and all that cool stuff. Matthais is a mechanic--very handy to have around!! He is also working on his bachelor's degree to become a fisheries biologist.
